Karen S. Brandes

Booking Coordinator / Urban Division

Karen Brandes graduated from Bucknell University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a strong desire to help people. Karen continued her education at Columbia University where she received her Masters in Social Work in 2014. After a few rough years of hospital social work, Karen decided to move on with her career. A couple office jobs and Covid lockdown later, Karen’s husband, Senior Agent Ross Brandes, was kind enough to get her an interview at Day After Day Productions. Karen joined the DADP team as a Coordinator with a focus on the Urban Roster with Ross (they really do love working together that much!). While Karen is “officially” new to the music industry, she feels like she has been a part of this community for years through Ross.

Karen lives in NYC with Ross and their two poodles, Althea & Prudence (both named for classic rock songs from The Grateful Dead & The Beatles, respectively).  Outside of work, Karen loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, work out (F45 lovers unite!), and take the dogs to the park!
