Under the Sun, a live concert celebration of the legendary Sun Records record label, will make its global premiere at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City in the Winter of 2022.
Celebrating 70 years of Sun Records, this production features thrilling live performances that showcase the “Sun Sound” made famous by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, along with other Sun artists like Billy Lee Riley and Rufus Thomas, Jr.
The stars and multi-talented musicians from the successful national tour of “Million Dollar Quartet” will come together to perform live on stage while honoring the magic of the Sun Records label and its small recording studio in Memphis, Tennessee. Audiences can expect an evening packed with electrifying performances, freewheeling excitement and thrilling sounds of music’s finest talents. The set list includes such hits as “Great Balls of Fire”, “That’s All Right”, “Folsom Prison Blues”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, “I Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shaking Goin’ On”, “Ooby Dooby” and much more.
