Piece of My Soul: The Janis Joplin Experience

Janis Joplin. The voice. The stories. In a recording career that spanned less than five years, Janis established herself as the preeminent female voice of rock and roll. In “Piece of My Soul,” you’ll be transported back to the late 1960s to experience classic Joplin songs like “Piece of my Heart,” “Try,” “Ball and Chain,” “Me and Bobby McGee,” and “Mercedes Benz.” You’ll also get to hear some of the greatest hits of the era by the artists Janis toured with, including The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, and more. This concert features not only the greatest hits of the era, but also tells the story of Janis’ life…both the sex, drugs, and rock ’n’ roll fueled craziness and the quiet, introspective moments that show that Janis was more than just the “Queen Bee of Rock.”
