Artist Bio

Xscape, a female R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia, originated in 1992 with members Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, Kandi Burrus, LaTocha Scott, and Tamika Scott. Initially formed as a quartet, Tamera Coggins-Wynn was part of the original lineup but departed in 1993. Their breakthrough came when producer Jermaine Dupri discovered them and signed them to his So So Def label. Their debut album, “Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha” (1993), achieved platinum status, setting the stage for their rapid ascent in the music industry.
